No Facial Recognition
ZAISENSE does not perform facial recognition. Ever. The system detects the presence and attributes of human figures - age group, gender, group size - without identifying who those individuals are.
ZAISENSE was designed from the ground up to deliver spatial intelligence without compromising the privacy of the people inside the spaces it measures. Privacy is not a feature layer. It is the system design.
ZAISENSE understands movement patterns and behavioural signals. It does not understand, record, or store who those patterns belong to. The distinction is fundamental - and it is enforced at every layer of the system.
ZAISENSE does not perform facial recognition. Ever. The system detects the presence and attributes of human figures - age group, gender, group size - without identifying who those individuals are.
No fingerprints, no facial geometry, no retinal data, no voice prints. ZAISENSE stores behavioural metrics - counts, durations, paths, zones - not biometric identifiers of any kind.
Video frames are processed on-device and immediately discarded. Only structured, anonymised data points are transmitted to ZAISENSE Cloud. Raw footage never leaves the premises.
ZAISENSE is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable regional data privacy laws across all markets where it is deployed.
Anonymisation is not a setting you turn on - it is the only mode ZAISENSE operates in. There is no opt-out, no override, no "full recording mode." The system is architecturally incapable of storing identities.
For environments requiring additional visual anonymisation - healthcare, education, sensitive public spaces - ZAISENSE can apply real-time face blurring at the edge before any processing occurs.
When a person enters a ZAISENSE-monitored space, here is exactly what happens - and what does not happen.
AI detects a human figure - not a face, not an identity
Age group · Gender · Group size · Movement vector
Anonymous count + attribute data sent to cloud
"247 adult visitors, 58% female, avg dwell 4.2min"
ZAISENSE has been designed to operate compliantly across the most stringent data privacy regulatory frameworks in the world.
| GDPR (EU / EEA) | Compliant |
| UAE PDPL | Compliant |
| Saudi PDPL | Compliant |
| Facial recognition used | Never |
| Biometric data stored | Never |
| Raw video transmitted | Never |
| Personal identifiers logged | Never |
| Data retention (processed) | Configurable per deployment |
While ZAISENSE does not process personal data as defined under GDPR, we recommend displaying brief visitor notices in monitored spaces as a best-practice transparency measure. We provide template signage as part of every deployment.
Our team is happy to walk your legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders through the technical architecture behind ZAISENSE privacy by design.
